The “Blue zone” in Varna starts operation in May The first “Blue zone” in Varna will start operation in late May, said the managing director of Varna Municipality Local Development programme Stojan Argirov. More than 200 parking places are being prepared in the center of Varna, the price of a parking lot is one lev per hour. Automatic parking fee system is to be set by Siemens, it functions with one lev coins and issues a receipt for the total amount paid. Automatic parking units will have a button for foreign language assistance and solar panels operational system. The working hours of the “Blue zone” in Varna is from 6 a.m. to 19 p.m from Monday to Friday. The parking time is limited from 30 minutes to 3 hours. The “Blue zone” in the city of Varna will cover: “Rousse”street till “Kavala” street, boulevard “Chataldzha” between "General Kolev" and "King Asen," "Preslav" street in its section in front of the Regional administration office.
