Land in Bulgaria
Land is the origin of production resources and is an eternal lucrative object and as such its price is a constant. In the last few years the interest towards it increased sharply. More and more people buy land whether regulated or not in order to use it for construction or agricultural purposes. With the boom of tourism, the need of residential buildings increased. Major investors buy land and build it up with hotels, complexes of modern houses or with apartment buildings. Land near resorts is mostly built up with holiday apartments, hotels, villas, recreational facilities and also shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants. Regulated plots are more expensive than the ones that are out of regulation and this is important to know before purchase. Again land near beach or ski resorts or in big cities is quite more expensive than plots of land in villages and small towns. Agricultural land is bought at places where farming and plant- growing are priority. Municipalities support the agricultural business and create business favorable environment for those who want to invest in this branch. The price of the agricultural land depends on its fertility. Industrial terrains are purchased in the regions where the industry thrives and there are excellent conditions to start business. Lots of investments are acquired through the SAPARD program and used for purchases of agricultural land and construction of factories. Sometimes it is more convenient for the investors to rent the land for a certain period of time. Whether bought or rented, development land near strategic places is considered with the greatest potential. Big investment is reckoned the purchase of industrial terrains for the purpose of hospitals or petrol stations construction. Purchase of a land practically gives the investor flexible business choice and specialists suggest to invest in land purchase.
